The million-dollar question. First, I photographed my first family in 2004, and since then I’ve photographed hundreds of families, children, couples, commercial and editorial models, weddings and mamas-to-be! I have a degree in photo editing and retouching, graphic and website design, and photography! I definitely have the experience in producing high-quality images that will last a lifetime and create wonderful memories.

Second, I have obtained my own unique style of photography and photo retouching. I do not use filters or presets on any of my images. Each image is meticulously hand-edited to one’s specific session - this way, not every client’s gallery is like another.

Lastly, photographing in Hawai’i offers stunning natural backdrops and true vibrant island colors. I love focusing on capturing my clients enjoying all the beauty of the islands have to offer! Whether we’re hiking throughout our tropical mountains, or splashing in the warm, cleansing waters, I want you to enhance your Hawai’i photography experience and make memories that’ll tell a story forever!

I love being able to get to know you, chat and capture your photos at the same time. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for you. One that feels relaxed and comfortable. My sessions typically run an hour and I’m able to get all the shots needed but if we need that extra 30 minutes to get the last shots then I’m all for it. Let me know if you think you need more time than this and we can plan accordingly.

With regular sessions you will receive a gallery collection of a minimum of 25 images. Elopements and Weddings will really depend on how many hours you book but most of the time it will be a minimum of 100. You can be sure that I will capture every single moment and send out the best to you!

As I mentioned, I view my photographs as art and the editing process is what really brings the photos to life therefore I do not provide RAW files. I trust that you will book me for the love of my edits and how my photos are presented.

I totally know how it is! A pimple comes out of no where and your photoshoot is this week. I’m all about fixing blemishes or taking out objects in photos that may be distracting. If we capture close up photos you can be reassured that I can smoothen out blemishes and skin. As far as photoshop goes, I am all about embracing self! I do not go into heavy photoshop editing that will totally alter the original photos but if you’d like something specific we can definitely discuss!

No problem at all, and that’s what I’m here for as well! With years of commercial background and styled shoots, I’m able to share my professional styling expertise. Plus, I know what colors and patterns work well with each other along with your location and what compliments you best. You’ll receive my styling guides and tips once you book your session.

Being in front of the camera might sound a little intimidating, but don’t worry! I will guide you on how to pose, what to do and I will adjust you along the way. I promise that you’ll feel comfortable with me! We’ll have fun and I just want you to be yourself!

Yes, I do charge for inter-island travel (such as Maui, O’ahu and Kaua’i) and mainland locations. My rates are adjusted to peak and low seasons.
